I have been studying on SCRUM for the last for weeks. Finally, I got both Profesional Scrum Master I and Professional Scrum Product Owner I certiciates. So I feel eligible to post some information about SCRUM. This is my first mind map to keep the framework in my mind.
The most beneficial resource to learn it is The Scrum Guide, written by Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland. The methodology, rules, roles, responsibilities, artifacts and events are well-defined. The Internet has many resources about Scrum but I have experienced that some authors have different understanding of Scrum and it may cause you to fail in the 1st attempt of PSM online assessment just like me. Scrum Guide is clear, you need to read it over and over again until you can explain what is Scrum and why should be pereferred withouth taking a look at the guide.
I wish I have known about Scrum before, so that I could laugh at the face of some bosses who think that Scrum is a reporting process, consisting of 15 - 45 minutes daily meetings ruled by business developers and account managers. Maybe this blog shows you What Is NOT SCRUM as long as I write my experiences.
